Highlights
This bus tour from Sapporo takes you to the photo spots of Biei and Furano in winter in one day. Program
Depart from Sapporo and
tour the winter photo spots of Biei and Furano
The winter course runs from December 1 to March 31. The tour departs from ANA Crowne Plaza Hotel Sapporo between 8:45 and 9:00 AM, accompanied by a Chinese-, English- and Japanese-speaking guide. On the way, there is a 10-minute break at Sunagawa Service Area at around 9:45 AM.
On the way back, the tour stops at Iwamizawa Parking Area at around 6:00 PM and arrives at the group bus drop-off area at the North Exit of Sapporo Station at around 7:00 PM.
Take a lunch break at Ferme La Terre Biei
From 11:50 AM, spend about an hour at Ferme La Terre Biei, a nature farm, for lunch. Plan W3-2 includes a lunch of Biei pork and seasonal vegetables, and the menu may change depending on the seasonal ingredients available that day.
Plan W3-1 does not include lunch, so you need to arrange your own; menus may sell out, and indoor dining seats and restaurant facilities are not available.
Visit Biei Shrine, the Christmas Tree and Bibaushi Station
From 1:00 PM, spend 20 minutes at Biei Shrine, known as a place to pray for love and good relationships. Then take photos for 20 minutes at a viewpoint overlooking the snow-covered Christmas Tree and for 15 minutes at Bibaushi Station, a snowy unstaffed station with a retro atmosphere.
See winter lavender at Farm Tomita and visit the Furano Wine Factory
Arrive at Farm Tomita in Furano at around 2:50 PM and spend 35 minutes enjoying the winter scenery and lavender blooming in a warm greenhouse. Finally, spend 35 minutes at the Furano Wine Factory tasting Hokkaido wine and shopping.
