Highlights

Program
Depart Sapporo Station in the late morning and
explore winter in Biei and Furano
Meet at 10:30 AM at the group bus stop at the North Exit of Sapporo Station. The vehicle and guide assignment depends on the number of participants, and at the end of the tour you drive about 2 hours back to Sapporo, arriving at around 9:00 PM.
See the Christmas Tree and enjoy snowmobiling at Farms Chiyoda
Arrive at Biei's Christmas Tree at around 1:10 PM and spend 30 minutes taking photos with the snowy scenery. Then spend 100 minutes at Farms Chiyoda, a ranch and restaurant that turns into a snowy wonderland in winter.
Here you can ride a snowmobile at your own expense if you wish. The actual ride lasts 35 minutes, and the whole experience including putting on protective gear takes about 50 minutes; it may exceed 1 hour if preparation takes longer. Fees are ¥20,000 for two riders on one snowmobile and ¥15,000 for one rider per snowmobile.
See the "Biei Blue" waters of Shirahige Falls and the Blue Pond
Spend 20 minutes at Shirahige Falls in Shirogane Onsen, admiring the unusual falls where groundwater seeps out from the rocks and the "Biei Blue" water. Then spend 30 minutes at the Blue Pond with its clear blue water.
The Blue Pond illumination start time varies by month: 4:30 PM in December, 5:00 PM in January, 5:30 PM in February, 6:00 PM in March and 6:30 PM in April.
Stroll the forest paths of Ningle Terrace in the evening
Arrive at around 5:50 PM at Ningle Terrace, designed by writer Kuramoto So, and spend 60 minutes there. Along the forest path surrounded by trees, browse more than 10 craft shops selling windmills, kaleidoscopes, wood carvings, candles and more.
