Highlights

Program
Depart from Sapporo Odori and
enjoy winter in Biei and Furano from day to night
Meet at 11:40 AM at Exit 31 of Sapporo Subway Odori Station and depart by bus at 11:50 AM. A Chinese-, English- and Japanese-speaking guide accompanies you, and depending on conditions there is a short break of about 10 minutes at a rest area on the way there and back. The tour returns to Sapporo Odori at around 10:10 PM.
See Shikisai-no-Oka and the Christmas Tree at twilight
First, enjoy the winter scenery of the snow-covered Shikisai-no-Oka hills for about 50 minutes. Conditions permitting, you can choose winter activities such as snowmobiling at your own expense. They usually run from mid-December and depend on snow conditions and seasonal operations.
Next, spend about 30 minutes at the Christmas Tree standing alone in Biei's vast snowy fields and take in the scenery at dusk.
Admire Shirahige Falls and the Blue Pond illumination
At Shirahige Falls, spend about 30 minutes admiring the contrast between the snowy landscape and the blue waters of the Biei River. After sunset, enjoy the lights illuminating the snow-covered pond and surrounding trees at the Blue Pond for about 30 minutes.
Stroll through the lit-up Ningle Terrace
Finally, spend about 50 minutes strolling around Ningle Terrace, where log-cabin shops glow with warm lights in the snowy forest. After soaking up the cozy atmosphere of a winter night in Furano, return to Sapporo.
