Program
Depart from your Beijing hotel
and head to the Mutianyu Great Wall
Meet your English-speaking guide and driver at a hotel in downtown Beijing and travel about 1 hour 30 minutes to Mutianyu in an air-conditioned vehicle. Group tours meet at the Kempinski Hotel or the Regent Hotel depending on your option, and private tours include pickup from your hotel.
Ride the chairlift up to the upper section of the wall
Skip the ticket line with pre-booked admission. Take in panoramic mountain views as the chairlift carries you up to the upper section of the Great Wall.
Walk the Mutianyu Great Wall at your own pace
From around 10:30 AM to 3:30 PM, explore the well-preserved Mutianyu section freely at your own pace. You'll have 3+ hours for photos and history.
Toboggan down and return to Beijing
After exploring the wall, ride the toboggan down the mountain. Then relax in the vehicle on the way back to Beijing between 15:30 and 17:30 and get dropped off at your hotel or a downtown Beijing drop-off point.
※ Travelers aged 60 and over cannot ride the toboggan.
