Program
Meet at Dongzhimen Station
and ride the bus to the Mutianyu Great Wall
At 7:30 AM, meet the staff holding a MUBUS sign at Exit C of Dongzhimen subway station and board the bus. During the roughly 1.5-hour ride to Mutianyu, your guide shares the history of the Great Wall and visiting tips, and helps with ticket booking.
Enjoy 4 hours of free time at the Mutianyu Great Wall
Collect your ticket at the MUBUS Visitor Center, then take the shuttle bus up to the wall entrance. Spend 4 hours freely walking the wall surrounded by pine and cypress forests. The cable car and toboggan are not included; tickets can be purchased on site if you wish.
Afterward, relax at the MUBUS Visitor Center with tea, snacks and fruit. If you chose the lunch option, you'll enjoy a countryside-style lunch buffet at the Great Wall View Restaurant.
Explore the Summer Palace with your guide
Travel by bus to the Summer Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage imperial garden, for a 3-hour guided tour. Stroll along the shore of Kunming Lake and admire the Seventeen-Arch Bridge stretching across the water.
End the tour at Olympic Park
After the Summer Palace tour, travel by bus to Olympic Park. See the National Stadium (Bird's Nest) and the Water Cube, symbols of the 2008 Beijing Olympics, before the tour ends at the Olympic Green.
