Departing from Uyuni, this 3-day, 2-night journey takes you across the Uyuni Salt Flats and the Bolivian Altiplano by 4x4. On the first day, explore the endless salt flats and Incahuasi Island, home to giant cacti, then watch the sunset over the salt flats with wine and light snacks. On the second day, visit Andean lagoons frequented by flamingos and the reddish Laguna Colorada, and on the third day, see the steaming Sol de Mañana geothermal field and the Polques Hot Springs. The tour runs in small groups of up to 16 participants.

After pickup from your hotel in Uyuni, Uyuni Airport or the Uyuni bus terminal, the tour departs at 10:30 AM. You'll cross the Uyuni Salt Flats and the Bolivian Altiplano in a shared 4x4 vehicle, spend two nights in hostels and return to Uyuni on the evening of the third day.

On the first day, stop at the Train Cemetery with its old locomotives and the village of Colchani, where you can see traditional salt processing. In Colchani you can also browse salt crafts and alpaca and llama wool products. Then drive across the white salt flats to visit the Ojos de Sal, Playa Blanca, the Salt Hotel Museum, the Flags of the World and the Dakar Monument.
On Incahuasi Island, walk the trail between giant cacti and ancient coral formations and enjoy panoramic views. Take perspective photos on the salt flats and watch the sunset with wine and chips. The first night is spent at a salt hostel in Atulcha.

On the second day, set off after breakfast at 7:00 AM. Cross the Chiguana Desert surrounded by colorful mountains, stop briefly at a viewpoint of Ollagüe Volcano, and look for flamingos along the mineral-rich shores of the Cañapa, Hedionda and Chiarkota lagoons.
In the Eduardo Avaroa National Reserve, take in landscapes of mountains, deserts and lagoons. Pass through the Siloli Desert, home to the Stone Tree sculpted by wind and erosion, and arrive at Laguna Colorada (Red Lagoon) with its striking reddish water to look for flamingos. The second night is spent at a hostel in Huayllajara or Polques, depending on availability.

On the third day, set off early at 5:00 AM to explore the Sol de Mañana geothermal field with its steaming vents and bubbling mud pools. At the Polques Hot Springs, you can relax in warm water while looking out at the surrounding mountains.
After admiring the Dalí Desert, reminiscent of Salvador Dalí's paintings, and the Green & White Lagoons beneath Licancabur Volcano, have lunch in Villa Mar. On the way back, stop at Rock Valley and the town of San Cristóbal, arriving in Uyuni around 5:30–6:30 PM.
