Take a night bus from La Paz
to visit the Uyuni Salt Flats
This is a 3-day Uyuni Salt Flats tour departing from La Paz. On the first day, travel from La Paz to Uyuni by night bus, having dinner and resting on board. Blankets and pillows are provided on the bus.
Explore the Train Cemetery and Colchani Village
On the second day, arrive in Uyuni around 7:00 AM, have breakfast and start the salt flats tour by 4x4. First, visit the Train Cemetery, lined with locomotives used and abandoned in the 19th century, for photos, then stop at the village of Colchani with its salt iodization plant.
See Incahuasi Island and the sunset on the salt flats
Out on the Uyuni Salt Flats, visit the Dakar Monument, the Playa Blanca Salt Hotel and Incahuasi Island, famous for its giant cacti. You can enjoy the sunset and take photos on the salt flats.
After the tour, return to the bus station and take the night bus to La Paz, arriving around 6:30 AM on the third day.
