in a single day
The tour starts at 10:30 AM from the meeting point in the town of Uyuni. It runs as a private group just for your party, and an English- and Spanish-speaking guide-driver takes you between the sights by vehicle. The tour ends back at the meeting point.
Stop at the Train Cemetery and Colchani village
First, visit the Train Cemetery to see old locomotives. Then browse handicrafts made from salt in Colchani village, where you can also buy souvenirs.
Explore the salt flats and Incahuasi Island
Head onto the salt flats to take photos at the Dakar Monument, then visit the salt hotel and Incahuasi Island. On Incahuasi Island you can see vast fields of cacti, marine rock fossils and sweeping views. Before returning to Uyuni, enjoy a relaxed lunch on the salt flats.
