We absolutely loved this tour of Gion, and a huge part of it was thanks to our guide, Kaz. He was incredibly friendly, warm and patient, and made the whole experience really enjoyable from beginning to end. He knows so much about Gion, geishas and Japanese culture, and explained everything in a very engaging and easy-to-understand way. We asked him a lot of questions throughout the tour and he was always happy to answer every single one of them, with plenty of interesting details. It was raining quite a lot during our tour, but Kaz managed everything so well that the rain barely affected the experience. He adapted the route and stops perfectly and made everything feel easy and comfortable for the whole group. A genuinely lovely person and a fantastic guide. We learned a lot, had a great time and would definitely recommend this tour, especially with Kaz!

We had a fabulous tour of the Gion district and saw many beautiful sites that we would not have discovered without the knowledge of our guide. I would highly recommend this tour and would love to come back to explore this area again.
