Beijing Jinshanling Great Wall Sunset Hiking Tour - Round-trip Transfer

Depart from Dongzhimen Station
for the Jinshanling Great Wall

Start the tour at the meeting point at Dongzhimen Subway Station. The drive to the Jinshanling Great Wall takes about 2 hours, so you can relax on the way. An English-speaking driver who also acts as a tour guide accompanies you, and pickup times vary by season.

Hike west along the wall from the East Gate

Enter the Great Wall at the East Gate and start hiking westward. The hike covers about 6–7 km and takes around 3–4 hours. Each watchtower is labeled with an English name, so you can check your position and walk at your own pace.

Watch the sunset from the wall

Take in the views of the Jinshanling Great Wall as the sun sets over the horizon. After sunset, descend from the wall at the Middle Gate and return to the city, arriving back at the meeting point around 8–10 PM depending on the season.
