Vehicles from 5-seat sedans to 55-seat coaches are arranged based on your group size, and bottled water and light snacks are provided in the air-conditioned car. Choose from five Great Wall sections

Mutianyu is the most popular section among international visitors, known for its well-preserved walls and watchtowers and paved paths surrounded by lush forest (about 1 hour 30 minutes by car). Huanghuacheng is a lakeside section where part of the wall meets a lake, and it is quieter than other sections (about 1 hour 30 minutes).

Juyongguan is the closest section to Beijing, known as a grand fortress that guarded the pass to the capital (about 1 hour). Badaling, opened to visitors in 1957, is the most famous section with good facilities, ideal for first-time visitors (about 1 hour 30 minutes). Jinshanling keeps its original watchtowers and rugged natural scenery, making it a favorite of hikers and photographers (about 2 hours).

Explore freely at your own pace

On arrival, the driver helps with the entry process and confirms where to meet again, then you can explore the Great Wall at your own pace without a guide. When you are done, meet your driver at the parking lot for the ride back to Beijing.

Add the Summer Palace or Ming Tombs with some options

Some options combine two sites in one day, such as Mutianyu and the Summer Palace, Mutianyu and the Ming Tombs, Badaling and Juyongguan, or Mutianyu and Huanghuacheng. The Badaling option is available for both day and night visits.
