Meet your guide at the hotel
and explore Tiananmen Square

For packages 1-5, meet your guide holding a sign with your name in your hotel lobby in central Beijing. At your first stop, Tiananmen Square, see landmarks such as the Great Hall of the People, the Monument to the People's Heroes and the National Museum of China from the outside.

Explore the Forbidden City with your guide

Continue to the Forbidden City to explore its main courtyards, the grand halls along the central axis and the imperial garden. Your guide explains the historical role and architectural highlights of each building.

Stroll the old lanes of the Houhai hutongs

After the Forbidden City, head to the hutongs around Houhai and walk the old lanes for about 1 hour while your guide shares local history. Package 1 is a walking tour and you pay for your own transport to and from the hotel, while package 2 uses a private car for round-trip transfers.

Package 3 includes a 20-minute rickshaw ride through the quiet lanes and traditional siheyuan courtyard houses of the Houhai hutongs, plus a round-trip private car.

Add the Temple of Heaven, Summer Palace or Great Wall

Package 4 continues to the Temple of Heaven after the hutong walk to see central-axis highlights such as the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests and the Circular Mound Altar, and learn about imperial rituals and architectural symbolism. Package 5 continues to the Summer Palace to walk the 728 m Long Corridor and admire the Tower of Buddhist Incense, Kunming Lake and Longevity Hill.

Package 6 starts with meeting your guide at the hotel and traveling to the Mutianyu Great Wall, where you walk the wall with the included ticket while hearing about its history, followed by a 1-hour visit to the Houhai hutongs.
