Instead of kneeling on tatami, you sit at a table and chairs for this tea ceremony experience. The instructor gives a brief introduction to the tea ceremony; the session is conducted in Japanese, with as much English translation as possible.
Prepare your own matcha and enjoy it at leisure
After the introduction, prepare matcha yourself using the otemae (Japanese tea ceremony) experience set. Slowly savor the matcha you made and feel the beauty of Japanese culture. You can also take photos to capture the moment.
Taste single-origin matcha and ohigashi
The experience uses a special single-origin matcha, served with ohigashi, a Japanese dry sweet. If you wish, you can receive a certificate of completion for an additional 300 yen.
