Pick your favorite from tea bowls that each have their own beauty and character. Enjoy a bowl of matcha carefully prepared by your host along with delicate seasonal Japanese sweets.

Whisk your own matcha and learn tea etiquette

Whisk matcha yourself and pour it into a bowl while learning the elegant techniques and etiquette of the tea ceremony. You will also explore the meaning of hospitality and mindfulness at the heart of the ceremony.

Stroll to Kiyomizu-dera and Ninenzaka afterward

After the ceremony, take a leisurely walk to nearby cultural landmarks such as Kiyomizu-dera Temple and Ninenzaka Street and soak up Kyoto's atmosphere.
