From Cebu: Kawasan Falls Canyoneering Day Tour with 700m Canyon Zipline & Lunch

Leave Cebu and head
to the canyoneering start point in Badian

Pickup is between 4:30 and 5:00 AM from hotels in Cebu City, Mactan and Lapu-Lapu, and around 7:30–8:00 AM from hotels in Moalboal and Badian (varies by option). The drive south from Cebu takes about 3 hours, and you can buy breakfast after arriving (at your own cost).

Around mid-morning, you arrive at Matutinao Parish Church in Badian and meet your certified canyoneering guides. Change into your swimwear and receive your safety gear, including a helmet, life jacket and water shoes.

Start with a 700m canyon zipline

From the start point, ride a 700 m Superman-style zipline high above the canyon. The zipline is included in the tour at no extra cost, and you'll glide for about 30 seconds while looking down over the open canyon.

Swim and slide down the turquoise canyon

Swim through narrow turquoise gorges, slide down rock chutes polished smooth by the water and rappel down small waterfalls. Along the way there are 7 cliff-jump spots from 1 m to 6 m, and the brave can try a 30 m cliff dive.

All jumps are optional, and every spot has a safer alternative route. Guides gauge each guest's comfort level and adjust accordingly, so first-time canyoneers and families with children can enjoy the tour at their own pace.

Finish at Kawasan Falls and have lunch

After 2–3 hours in the canyon, you finish at the foot of the famous turquoise three-tiered Kawasan Falls. Then enjoy a Filipino lunch of fried chicken, pork ribs, chop suey and rice in Badian, and drive about 3 hours back to your hotel. Expected arrival at hotels in Cebu and Lapu-Lapu is around 6–7 PM.
