Program
Take the overnight VIP bus
from La Paz to Uyuni
On day 1, check in at the bus office in La Paz around 8:30 PM and board the VIP night bus to Uyuni at 9:00 PM. The bus has reclining seats, Starlink Wi-Fi, heating, an onboard toilet and blankets, and dinner and breakfast are served.
On day 2, you arrive in Uyuni around 7:30 AM, where the operator's staff will meet you at the bus office. Relax and enjoy free time at a nearby café, then check in at the operator's office, meet your driver and guide, and get a short briefing. The tour departs at 10:30 AM.
Explore the Train Cemetery and Colchani village
Board a shared 4x4 and first stop at the Train Cemetery, walking among old locomotives that trace Uyuni's railway history. Then visit Colchani village to learn about traditional salt processing and browse local handicrafts, including alpaca and llama wool products.
Discover the salt flat and Incahuasi Island
Cross the vast white salt flat and stop at the Ojos de Sal, Playa Blanca, the Salt Hotel Museum, the Flags of the World and the Dakar Monument. Lunch is served during the salt flat tour.
On Incahuasi Island, walk the trails among giant cacti and ancient coral formations and take in sweeping views of the salt flat. You'll also take fun perspective photos against the white horizon.
Watch the sunset with wine and return to La Paz
End the tour watching the sunset over the salt flat with wine and light snacks such as potato chips. You arrive back at the operator's office in Uyuni between 5:00 and 6:00 PM and have time to get ready for the next leg.
Check in at the bus office around 8:30 PM and board the VIP night bus to La Paz at 9:00 PM. The trip ends when you arrive in La Paz between 6:00 and 7:00 AM on day 3.
※ The Incahuasi Island entrance fee (30 BOB per person) is not included and must be paid on site.
