After a morning pickup from your hotel in La Paz, you transfer to El Alto Airport and take an approximately 45-minute flight to Uyuni. During the flight you can enjoy aerial views of La Paz. Your guide and private driver will meet you on arrival at Uyuni Airport.

Visit the Train Cemetery and Colchani village

After an American-style buffet breakfast at a local café, head to the Train Cemetery where old trains have been left to rest. Next, learn how salt is processed in the small village of Colchani, then drive into the Uyuni Salt Flats to take in the vast expanse of salt.

Explore Incahuasi Island and the foot of Tunupa Volcano

On Incahuasi Island, see giant cacti and rock formations and enjoy a local lunch. After your guide tells you about the area, continue to the foot of Tunupa Volcano to admire the Andean scenery and look out for native animals such as llamas and vicuñas.

Watch the sunset on the salt flats
and stay overnight at a hotel

Return to the salt flats and raise a toast as you watch the sunset. Then head back to Uyuni and spend the night at Hotel Luna Salada. On the second day, transfer to the airport for your flight back to La Paz, where your driver will meet you and take you back to your pickup point.
