Step into a Paris neighborhood bakery
as an apprentice for the day
The class takes place not in a classroom but in the kitchen behind the counter of a working Paris neighborhood bakery. Surrounded by the scents of yeast, butter and caramelized sugar, you learn French baking techniques from a professional baker.
At the start, you are welcomed with a pastry and your choice of coffee, tea or juice. All professional baking equipment, including an apron, and ingredients are provided.
Bake a baguette with a crisp crust and airy crumb
You mix, knead, shape and bake the dough yourself. Learn the French baker's secrets for a perfectly crisp, golden crust and a light, airy crumb.
Make financiers with the aroma of brown butter
You also learn to make financiers, small almond cakes known for the nutty aroma of brown butter (beurre noisette). With a maximum of 6 guests, the instructor can guide each person closely.
At the end of the class, you take home a warm baguette and a box of financiers you baked yourself.
