This half-day snorkeling tour takes you by boat from Naha to the Kerama Islands (Chibishi), known for their clear water and coral reefs. After a safety briefing, you'll spend about 2 hours at a selected snorkeling spot, swimming among colorful coral gardens and tropical fish. You may also get the chance to swim with wild sea turtles in their natural habitat. It's a small-group tour focused on snorkelers, and all underwater photos and videos taken during the tour are provided free of charge.
Program
Board a boat in Naha
and head to the Kerama Islands
Board the boat at the port in Naha and travel about 25 minutes to the waters of Kerama Islands National Park. On arrival, the guide gives a safety briefing of about 5 minutes and explains how to use the gear. All necessary equipment, including a wetsuit, rash guard, fins, mask and snorkel, is provided.
Swim among coral gardens and tropical fish
You usually stay at one selected snorkeling spot for about 2 hours, admiring colorful coral reefs and countless tropical fish. The guide shows you where the marine life is and explores the sea with you. Because the tour focuses on snorkeling groups rather than scuba divers, you get plenty of attention from the guide.
Swim with wild sea turtles
You may have the chance to meet sea turtles in their natural habitat. The guide helps you find them, and all photos and videos taken underwater are provided for free. After the activity, you return to the meeting point by boat in about 30 minutes.

If you take a taxi, use the address of Kame Soba restaurant to reach the port entrance. Once there, go into the port and wait for the guide in front of the boat or at the pier near the yellow restaurant. The tour ends back at the meeting point.
