Das Schnorcheln war perfekt und wir hatten die beste Sicht bis auf den Meeresgrund. Die guides haben uns viel zu den Tieren erklärt und beim schwimmen auf diese hingewiesen damit alle aus der Gruppe etwas sehen konnten. Wir haben sogar eine Schildkröte gesehen. Nach dem Schnorcheln konnten wir ein Curry essen und uns dann noch am Strand aufhalten. Das Wasser war selbst am Strand so klar dass man von dort die Korallenriffe sehen konnte ohne zu tauchen. Man konnte am Strand Liegen, Schwimmreifen oder nur einen Sonnenschirm mieten (kein Muss). Der Strand ist angenehm leer und man hat genug Platz zu anderen Badegästen. Die Fahrten mit der Fähre und später mit dem Fahrer vom bzw. zum Fähren Terminal haben reibungslos geklappt.

The beach and the water was beautiful. Glad we brought our own snorkel gear so we were able to snorkel from the beach while waiting for our snorkeling boat tour. Snorkeling was in front of the other beach on the island. Appreciated the showers after our snorkel. The included Okinawa noodles for lunch were delicious. Definitely was not rushed. Appreciated that they didn’t have an upper age restriction. So all of us were able to enjoy the snorkeling.

Highlights

This day tour takes you from Tomari Port in Naha to Tokashiki Island in about 40 minutes by high-speed boat to snorkel in the Kerama sea, famous for its 'Kerama Blue' water. From the port, a shuttle bus takes you to Aharen Beach, and then you head out by boat to a snorkeling spot in Kerama. An instructor accompanies you in the water, so first-time snorkelers and those who can't swim well can also join. After snorkeling, relax on the white sands of Aharen Beach before returning to Naha.

Program

Take a high-speed boat from Naha
to Tokashiki Island

Collect your boat ticket at the Tokashiki ticket counter at Tomari Port (Tomarin Building) in Naha, then take the high-speed boat to Tokashiki Port. On arrival, board the small shuttle bus with the 'Sea Friend' sign and enjoy the island scenery on the way to Aharen Beach.

Snorkel in the Kerama Blue sea

After checking in at the 'Sea Friend' shop, head out by boat to one of Kerama's best snorkeling spots. The instructor explains how to snorkel and stays with you in the water, so beginners and non-swimmers can join too. See coral and colorful tropical fish up close in the clear water.

Enjoy free time at Aharen Beach

After snorkeling, enjoy free time at Aharen Beach. Relax on the white sand or swim at the beach, then take the shuttle bus back to Tokashiki Port and return to Naha by high-speed boat.

There are no operator staff or guides at the port. Go directly to the Tokashiki ticket counter in the Tomarin Building, show your voucher and receive your boat ticket. You cannot board without a boat ticket (the voucher itself is not a boat ticket). Please tell the counter that you booked through Jumbo Tours. When you arrive at Tokashiki Port, look for the shuttle bus with the 'Sea Friend' sign.
