Enjoy both clear SUP and sea turtle snorkeling in one experience at a beautiful beach on Miyakojima. Glide across the "Miyako Blue" sea on a transparent paddleboard and look down at the coral reefs and tropical fish beneath you. Then walk straight from the beach into the water and swim among the reefs with your guide, looking for sea turtles and clownfish (Nemo). Photos and videos taken by your guide with a waterproof camera are provided free of charge on the same day, and families with children from age 1 can join.

clear SUP and snorkeling back to back

Meet your local guide at one of Miyakojima's beaches, receive all the equipment you need, and head into the sea after easy-to-follow instructions and some local tips. You will enjoy two experiences in a row, clear stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) and sea turtle snorkeling, for a total of about 3.5 to 4 hours.

The tour runs in small groups and is guided in English and Japanese. No boat is used; you enter the sea directly from the beach.

Paddle across the Miyako Blue sea on a clear SUP

Paddle along the coast on a completely transparent board and look straight down into the sea. From above you can see coral reefs, tropical fish and, if you are lucky, even sea turtles. Your instructor gives detailed guidance so beginners can enjoy it too, and children can ride with an adult and join with their own paddle. SUP takes place at Aragusuku Beach, Maehama Beach or Ingya Marine Garden depending on the day's conditions.

Swim with sea turtles among the coral reefs

Enter the water at a calm beach and follow your guide into an underwater world full of life. Swim alongside sea turtles and look for colorful corals and clownfish (Nemo) hiding in the reef. Step-by-step instructions make it suitable for beginners, and children can swim or ride a float with a viewing window. Snorkeling takes place at Aragusuku Beach, Shigira Beach or Waiwai Beach.

Receive photos and videos from your guide on the same day

Your guide takes photos and videos with a waterproof camera throughout the tour. All the data is provided free of charge toward the end of the day. Drone photography is not included.
