Your guide explains the equipment step by step, so first-timers can enjoy it easily, and you receive the photos and videos taken with a waterproof camera throughout the tour free of charge on the same day. Children from age 1 can join, and free hotel pickup within Miyakojima is available if requested at least one day in advance.

Meet your local guide
at a Miyakojima beach at dusk

Meet your local guide at one of Miyakojima's beaches to start the tour. Your guide provides all the equipment you need, gives easy-to-follow instructions and local tips, and then leads you out to sea. The tour is conducted in English and Japanese and lasts about 1.5 hours in total.

The start time changes by season to match the sunset. It starts around 5:30 PM in winter and around 6:20 PM in summer, and if the time changes, the new time will be sent by email the day before.

Paddle along the coast against the sunset

As the sun slowly sets over the horizon, glide along Miyakojima's coastline on your stand-up paddleboard. Look down into the clear water from your board to see coral reefs and tropical fish, and if you're lucky, sea turtles swimming nearby.

The instructor guides you through the whole experience, so beginners can enjoy it without worry. Children ride on the board with an adult and can join in with their own paddle, and child-size life jackets and paddles are provided. The tour location is chosen from Aragusuku Beach, Maehama Beach, Imgya Marine Garden and others.

Receive your sunset photos on the same day

Throughout the tour, your guide takes professional-quality photos and videos with a waterproof camera. You receive all the data, with no limit on the number of shots, free of charge at the end of the day.

Travel easily with free hotel pickup

Free hotel pickup and drop-off within Miyakojima, as well as transfers between locations, are provided. You must request this at least one day in advance, and it may not be available for last-minute bookings. For accommodation on Irabu Island and Ikema Island, please check in advance.
