Program
Depart from central Beijing
for the Mutianyu Great Wall
Depending on your option, meet at the Regent Beijing Hotel or the Kempinski Hotel Beijing Lufthansa Center, or get picked up at your hotel in central Beijing. The drive to Mutianyu takes about 100 minutes. An English- or Chinese-speaking guide accompanies you, and private options come with a private guide and driver or a private driver only.
Ride the lift up and walk the wall
Ride the cable car or chairlift up to the wall and spend about 3 hours exploring the Great Wall. As you walk along the ancient stone walls, your guide tells you about the history and construction of the Great Wall. Take photos with the mountains and the wall as your backdrop.
Toboggan down and relax in Mutian Valley
After the hike, ride the toboggan down the mountain. Then enjoy about 1 hour of free time in Mutian Valley before driving back to Beijing. The tour ends at the original meeting point or in Wangfujing.
※ The toboggan is not available to people aged 60 or over, pregnant women or children under 3, and does not operate in bad weather. In these cases, you can take the round-trip chairlift/cable car instead or receive a full refund.
