From Hanoi: Mu Cang Chai Rice Terraces & Khau Pha Pass 3-Day Tour - Meals Included

Take a sleeper bus from Hanoi
to the rice terraces of Mu Cang Chai

After pickup in Hanoi's Old Quarter at around 4:30 PM, travel overnight by sleeper bus to Mu Cang Chai. Arrive at around 5:00 AM, rest for a while, then spend two days exploring rice terraces, mountain passes and ethnic villages with a local guide. An easy rider service is included in Mu Cang Chai, and you stay at a homestay with dormitory rooms.

Explore the Kim Noi and Bo Nga rice terraces
and a bamboo forest

After breakfast on the first day, head to the rice terraces of Kim Noi and Bo Nga, famous for their breathtaking scenery and perfect for photos. Then enjoy nature in a peaceful bamboo forest and taste local dishes for lunch.

Climb to the Heaven Gate viewpoint
and try Hmong beeswax painting

In the afternoon, visit the Heaven Gate viewpoint with panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. At Ngo House, try traditional Hmong beeswax painting, then return to the homestay for dinner and rest.

Pass La Pan Tan and Khau Pha Pass
and return to Hanoi

On the second day, after a local breakfast, visit La Pan Tan, known for its picturesque views and cultural heritage, and Khau Pha Pass, one of Vietnam's four great mountain passes. If you wish, you can go paragliding from the flying point (not included in the tour price).

Have lunch at a local restaurant and enjoy some free time, then have dinner at the homestay. Board the bus to Hanoi at around 8:30 PM, spend the night on the bus and arrive at your Old Quarter hotel the next morning.
