Leave Hanoi for a full day
at the Perfume Pagoda
This full-day tour picks you up at your hotel in Hanoi's Old Quarter and drives southwest through the countryside to the Perfume Pagoda. Ride a sampan boat up the Yen River to Thien Tru Pagoda, have lunch at a local restaurant, and then explore Huong Tich Cave. An English-speaking guide accompanies you all day, and the tour takes about 10 hours.
Ride a sampan boat along the Yen River

On arrival at the Perfume Pagoda area, an electric car takes you about 3 km from the parking lot to Ben Duc wharf. Board a traditional sampan boat and float along the clear Yen River, taking in the mountains on both sides. The boat stops briefly at Den Trinh (the registration temple) for a short history introduction before continuing deeper into the complex.
Visit Thien Tru Pagoda and enjoy a local lunch

From Thien Tru wharf, a gentle 15-minute walk uphill leads to the multi-tiered Thien Tru Pagoda, built in the 17th century. Known as the "Heavenly Kitchen," it is the center of the main Buddhist festivals and religious ceremonies of the Perfume Pagoda complex.
Afterwards, rest and enjoy a traditional Vietnamese set lunch at a local restaurant at the foot of the mountain.
Take the cable car up to Huong Tich Cave

After lunch, the cable car carries you over the forest canopy to a high peak of the Huong Son range. At Huong Tich Cave, said to have been praised as "the most beautiful cave under the southern sky," your guide shares old legends and points out stalactites and stalagmites named "Silver and Gold Piles," "Rice Pile," and "Boy and Girl."
Return to Thien Tru wharf on foot or by cable car, then ride the sampan back down the river. An electric car takes you to the parking lot, where your private vehicle drives you back to Hanoi.
※ The cable car is included only in the "Small Group Tour with Cable Car" option.
※ The itinerary or order of visits may change depending on local conditions.
