Visit Kyushu's largest shrine in fall colors and walk Daikozenji, known as Kyushu's sanctuary of autumn leaves with over 3,000 maple trees. Pass through the Meiji-era garden of Kunenan, open only in November, and Kankyo Geijutsu no Mori with leaves reflected in its ponds, and finally admire illuminated night foliage at Kamado Shrine.
