Program

Pick winter strawberries
at a countryside farm

Depart by bus from Lawson near Hakata Station and arrive at a local strawberry farm after about 50 minutes. Spend about 1 hour picking seasonal strawberries and relaxing at Nekono Shokudo (strawberry picking and pudding at your own cost). Strawberry picking may vary depending on the season and conditions on the day. Then enjoy a set-menu lunch at a local restaurant for about 40 minutes.

Yutoku Inari Shrine and Ouo Shrine

At Yutoku Inari Shrine, one of Japan's best-known Inari shrines, walk among vermilion buildings and rows of red torii and enjoy the hillside scenery. Then take photos for about 15 minutes at Ouo Shrine, famous for its red torii standing in the sea, with views that change with the tide.

See the Takeo Onsen Romon gate

See the red Romon gate of Takeo Onsen designed by architect Tatsuno Kingo and stroll the hot-spring town (bathing fees extra). Afterward, return by bus to the meeting point in Hakata.
