This day tour departs Fukuoka early in the morning for the Saga International Balloon Fiesta, one of the largest hot air balloon competitions in Asia. Arrive at the venue at dawn and watch hundreds of colorful balloons rise into the morning sky. Enjoy plenty of free time at the venue to take photos and have breakfast at the local food stalls. Round-trip bus transportation and an English- and Korean-speaking guide are included, and you return to Fukuoka around noon with the afternoon free.

Program

Depart Fukuoka at dawn
for the Saga International Balloon Fiesta

Board the bus in central Fukuoka early in the morning and travel about 1 hour to Saga. Depending on your option, the meeting point is either HEARTS Bus Stop Hakata (departs at 5:00 AM) or Fukuoka Central Post Office (departs at 5:20 AM). A guide who speaks English and Korean accompanies you.

Watch balloons rise into the morning sky

The Saga International Balloon Fiesta is one of the largest hot air balloon competitions in Asia. Arrive at the venue at dawn and watch hundreds of colorful balloons rise into the sky with the sunrise. Enjoy the competition amid the festive atmosphere along the Kase River.

Take photos and try street food
during your free time

Spend about 5 hours of free time around the venue at Balloon Saga Station. Take photos and enjoy a warm breakfast at the local food stalls (meals not included). After the event, ride the bus for about 1 hour back to central Fukuoka, arriving around noon.
