Highlights
This bus tour departs from Fukuoka and visits the Kyushu Natural Animal Park safari, the Mt. Yufu pass, Yufuin and Umi Jigoku in Beppu in one day. Ride a safari bus
and meet the animals of Kyushu Natural Animal Park
Depart from Lawson Hakata Station Chikushiguchi and enjoy a 2-hour safari at Kyushu Natural Animal Park. Ride the dedicated safari bus through open areas where lions, bears, giraffes, elephants and more roam freely, and feed animals in the interactive zone (feed is optional, extra cost). Zoo admission is paid in cash on site.
Enjoy the view from the Mt. Yufu pass
Make a short stop at the Mt. Yufu pass to photograph the open views of Mt. Yufu and the valley below.
Spend 2 hours of free time in Yufuin
In Yufuin, one of Kyushu's favorite hot spring towns, browse craft shops, taste local sweets or relax in a foot bath. There is no set lunch stop, so choose freely from cafes, udon stands and bento shops.
End the day at Umi Jigoku in Beppu
Finally, spend 30 minutes at Umi Jigoku (Sea Hell), a cobalt-blue hot spring close to 100°C. Enjoy the scenery of tropical plants and stone paths before returning to Fukuoka. Admission is paid in cash on site.
