From Fukuoka: Dazaifu Tenmangu, Hells of Beppu & Yufuin Day Tour

Depart from Hakata Station
and see three northern Kyushu highlights in one day

Meet in front of the Lawson near Hakata Station at 7:50 AM and depart by vehicle at 8:00 AM. You will visit Dazaifu Tenmangu, the Hells of Beppu and Yufuin in order, returning to the Hakata Station meeting point around 6:30 PM.

The vehicle type and guide arrangement depend on the number of participants. At each site, you explore on your own in a self-guided style.

Pray for academic success at Dazaifu Tenmangu

After about a 30-minute drive from Fukuoka, arrive at Dazaifu Tenmangu, famous for academic luck. Spend about 1 hour exploring the shrine, enjoying the peaceful atmosphere and taking photos.

Discover the colorful scenery of the Hells of Beppu

After about a 2-hour drive from Dazaifu, arrive at the Hells of Beppu, a group of seven geothermal hot springs. Explore the hot springs freely for about 3 hours, and at Tatsumaki Jigoku you can see a geyser that erupts periodically. Hells admission tickets are not included and must be purchased on site.

Stroll freely through fairytale-like Yufuin

After about a 45-minute drive from Beppu, arrive at the hot spring town of Yufuin. Enjoy 100 minutes of free time to explore the town at your own pace, then return to Hakata, Fukuoka, after about a 1.5-hour drive.
