From Fukuoka: Itoshima Coast, Yanagawa Boat Ride & Dazaifu

Take photos at Itoshima's wedded rocks
and the Palm Tree Swing

Depart from the Lawson at Hakata Station Chikushi Exit (next to the Oriental Hotel) and arrive at Sakurai Futamigaura in Itoshima about 1 hour later. Admire the wedded rocks joined by a thick shimenawa rope for 30 minutes, then take photos with the sea at the nearby Palm Tree Swing for 30 minutes.

Stop at the original Ichiran Ramen store

At noon, spend 80 minutes at the original Ichiran Ramen store. Taste tonkotsu ramen and buy limited-edition souvenirs (meal cost not included).

Shiraito Falls and a Yanagawa boat ride

Walk along Shiraito Falls, which falls like white threads, for 40 minutes. From November 1 to March 31, it is replaced by Raizan Sennyoji. In the afternoon, ride a traditional donkobune in Yanagawa for 30 minutes along waterways reflecting willows and white walls (ticket included only in the 'ticket included' option).

End the day at Dazaifu Tenmangu

Spend 60 minutes at Dazaifu Tenmangu, dedicated to the god of learning, walking the approach lined with umegae mochi shops and praying at the main hall. Return to the Lawson at Hakata Station Chikushi Exit around 6:10 PM.
