From Fukuoka: Itoshima Wedded Rocks & Yanagawa Cruise

Start the day with the Daikaede maple
at Raizan Sennyoji

Depart from Lawson Oriental Hotel Fukuoka and spend about 45 minutes at Raizan Sennyoji at the foot of the mountains. See the Daikaede maple, over 400 years old and a natural monument of Fukuoka Prefecture, along with traditional buildings and a quiet garden (admission not included).

Taste grilled oysters and seafood in Itoshima

For about 45 minutes, enjoy a lunch of charcoal-grilled oysters dipped in local sauce. Oysters are available from December to March; at other times you'll have local seafood dishes (meals at your own expense).

Take photos at the wedded rocks and Anywhere Door

Spend about 30 minutes at the wedded rocks of Sakurai Futamigaura joined by a sacred rope, and about 20 minutes at the pink 'Anywhere Door' photo spot facing the sea.

Yanagawa river cruise and Miyajidake Shrine

In Yanagawa, ride a traditional boat for about 30 minutes past old samurai residences and willows (ticket included only in the 'cruise included' option). Finally, spend about 40 minutes at Miyajidake Shrine admiring the approach leading straight to the sea. At sunset you may see the 'Path of Light'.
