Start your day in Beijing
at Tiananmen Square

Meet your guide holding a sign with your name at around 7:40 a.m. at the Grand Hotel Beijing (35 East Chang'an Avenue). With the hotel pickup option, you'll be picked up from your downtown hotel lobby between 7:00 and 7:30 a.m., and with the private option, your dedicated guide will meet you in your hotel lobby. At Tiananmen Square, your first stop, spend about 1.5 hours learning about its historical significance and admiring the surrounding architecture.

Enter the Forbidden City with pre-booked tickets

Skip the ticket line and enter the Forbidden City, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with pre-booked tickets. Spend about 2.5 hours exploring the ancient imperial palace with your guide and hear fascinating stories about the emperors who once lived there.

Enjoy a buffet lunch and
head to the Mutianyu Great Wall

Drive about 2 hours to Mutianyu, where you'll enjoy a Chinese and Western buffet lunch with Western dishes, stir-fries, and dumplings.

Ride the cable car or toboggan
and enjoy the Great Wall

Choose between a round-trip cable car ride, or riding the chairlift up and the toboggan down. Spend about 2.5 hours hiking along the wall at a leisurely pace and enjoying views of the surrounding countryside, while your guide points out the best photo spots. After the tour, drive about 2 hours back to the Grand Hotel Beijing for drop-off, or choose to be dropped off at Wangfujing.

※ The toboggan is not available for people aged 60 and over, pregnant women, or children under 3, and does not operate in bad weather or when lines are long. In that case, a round-trip chairlift or cable car is used instead.
